Surgery is scheduled

Mom's surgery is scheduled for Monday morning, October 20. This is the fastest we could have anticipated, with all the prep that is required. Praise the Lord.

Mom has had quite a bit of activity lately, and she tires easily. Please be respectful of her time to rest. It can be trying to repeat all the details of her situation, which is why we started this blog.

Thank you so much to each of you for the outpouring of love you have shown to our family. Your prayers and expressions of concern are dear to us. You are a key element on her path to healing.

Connie,

Praise God. I am so glad they could schdule your surgery so fast. Bob and I will continue to pray. Remember tell them how you react to medicine. They can use things to really help you. We will be leaving for Texas and Louisiana on the 17th and won't be back until the 25th. I will call Angie on Tuesday as I won't have access to a computer. God is in control and I know he will take very good care of you.

Love ya

Connie,

I wanted you to know that "our" Catholic church is adding its voice to the chorus of churches praying for you.

Much love,

Connie, we're so relieved that you are finally on the surgery schedule. We're thinking about you today as you undergo the colonoscopy and hope and pray that all goes well. Take care and remember we all have you in our thoughts and prayers. With hugs and love always, Phyllis & Gene

Connie,

My name is Dawn Fox and I am a friend of Angie's. (You and I met a few years ago at the Kiddie Park in Bartlesville while we were there with Johnny and Angie.) I have had ovarian cysts in the past and have had surgery for them as well, but it was not quite what you are going through. I will continue to keep you in prayer and am looking forward to an excellent report. God bless you.

You've been in our thoughts constantly since hearing about what you're going through. I love you, cuz, and will be exerting all of the positive energy I can muster towards a positive outcome in your surgery this coming monday. Your northeastern family is thinking of you, praying for you, and expecting positive results.

Bob & Ann,

Thanks for your concern for Mom. Her reaction to medicines is at the top of the list in our discussion at pre-op. I'm glad you have my number to check on her when you're away from the computer. Thanks for all your comments.

Enjoy your trip.
Angie

I'm wondering how the pre-op has gone today and if you are staying in Tulsa this weekend--hopefully. I hope you are not driving back and forth. That is just too tiring. My prayers are with you--praying for God's presence and deep peace in your heart. Also for your physical comfort and the wisdom of the doctors. I hope they realize what a valued and loved person they are working on. God bless you and Ron, too. Love--Donna

Connie, it is Friday night, and I'm hoping your pre-op testing today went fine and didn't tire you out too much. I haven't heard for sure where your surgery is scheduled on Monday. You had mentioned either St. Francis or St. John's. Ron said the surgery is scheduled for around 6:30 a.m. on Monday. Please remember that our family loves you and will have you in our thoughts and prayers. Love always, Phyllis & Gene
