Update

It's nice to visit my corner.  I appreciate all the love and concern revealed in the posts.  I especially appreciate your prayers.  They are lifting me up to the King and giving me peace.

I slept well last night, and that is answered prayer.  My OB/GYN changed my pain meds and gave me something to help me sleep.  What a blessing he and his nurse have been to me this week.

My doctor here thinks that when Dr. Street examines me on Monday he will take immediate action.  Please pray that I tolerate these strong drugs and that the surgery is scheduled soon.

Angie will continue to update this blog for me, and that is wonderful.  Just wanted to add a few lines myself.  Love and appreciate all of you, Connie

So glad to hear that you now have a firm date to see the doctor and that it will be in Tulsa. May God bless you with a restful and pain-free weekend while you wait for your appointment.
By the way, this is a good opportunity for me to tell you what a wonderful daughter you have! She is a very dear friend and has ministered to me greatly over the years. I know she is and will continue to be a blessing to you through your present trial.
Praying for you,
Nancy

Dear Connie,
I am so sorry that you have been in so much pain with the tumor. I am fervently praying that the surgery will be quickly. God will direct the hands of your medical team.
Your family is so dear to Ann and me. We hurt when you are dealing with such challenges. As time goes on for each of us, we shall face other challenges, but Connie, I am certain that this tumor, while a terrible source of pain is going to be benign. The Holy Spirit has assured me of this and I trust in your same assurance. Maintain that confidence.
Connie your are indeed my sweet, sweet sister.

Love in Christ
Bob
